drum playalongs
Is there anything better than getting to jam with rockstars? I think not. These are clips that I use during lessons for students to play along to. These are not my videos, but I like youtube because the price is right and it is universally accessible.
Each song has some highlights and basic techniques featured in the song on the left. Listen through the song once and try to pick out these features before you play. Don't shy away from a song just because you've never heard it before! Some of these were new to me, but the drums are relatively easy.
(Note: these songs may have small parts or fills that are more complex. If it's too difficult, play the basic beat of the song through that section.)
As of now, these are in no particular order but as this list grows it will be broken down into various categories by genre and difficulty. These are currently geared towards beginner students but are great playalongs for any skill level. I highly recommend using a good set of headphones and ear protection.
Do you have a suggestion for an easy drum playalong? Send me a message!
